If you purchase one of our new homes before it is completed you can save money by doing some of the work yourself. Most people can paint, clean, install shutters, install towel bars and do many of the other jobs required to finish a home. The more work you do, the more you will save! You will be paid the same amount a subcontractor would normally earn! The money you earn is yours to keep, use to lower the price of your home, pay closing costs, or use any way you choose. The amount you save is determined by the amount of work you do. Better yet, get your in-laws to do the work and you keep the money!
